Although India is recognized as a leading software services provider, it still is nowhere on the world map when it comes to product development. Cost & Quality are two major factors, which are affecting progress in the area of product development. Microsoft has launched quality certification program in an effort to boost product development in India.

Microsoft will offer this certification along with National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM). This certification program aims at providing guidance to independent software vendors (ISVs) in India to adopt and follow international engineering and development standards. So that the products developed in India are of the same quality with the products available today. QAI India will be offering this certification program and the basis of this program is Microsoft Solutions Framework.
