Every other day we hear or read about security vulnerabilities in the windows operating system and other Microsoft products.

Microsoft releases info about the latest loopholes found in its products due to which a user can be attacked by hackers and may loose important data. To prevent this, Microsoft also releases security patches and updates regularly. However now it seems that the patches recently released by Microsoft were not properly tested and not enough quality assurance checking was done.

So users of these patches have faced some serious problems.

This leads to the discussion: Why are these loopholes found several days after release? . What goes wrong when carrying out testing and quality assurance check?

Only Microsoft can answer these questions.
