Froglogic today announced the availability of Squish 1.3. Squish 1.3 supports the testing applications written using XView toolkit. With support for XView using Squish automated tests can be written to have better test coverage.

Support to XView toolkit is an addition to support for different toolkits as QT GUI toolkit. The advantage of Squish 1.3 is that the same tool can be used to write automated tests for both XView-based and Qt-based applications. XView (X Window-System-based Visual/Integrated Environment for Workstations) provides support for graphic based applications running under X Window system.
