SilkTest for Linux and UNIX Platforms PDF Print E-mail

Today, Segue Software released SilkTest 7.6. SilkTest 7.6 will have support for applications running on Solaris, UNIX and Linux platforms. With this release SilkTest widens its presence in functional testing environments. SilkTest is the solution for automating applications on various platforms as Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
Support for following environments has been introduced in version 7.6:
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 2.1 and 3.0
  • Sun Solaris 9 and 10
  • Motif 2.1 and 2.2

Andre Pino (Chief marketing officer, Segue Software) said "Many companies today develop applications that run on multiple platforms. Or, an enterprise may utilize multiple operating system environments to support different processes critical to business operations."

SilkTest also supports applications various other technologies/platforms as ActiveX, Java, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, Win9X, Win NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
